The seventh edition of the Skybox “Security Vulnerability and Threat Trends” report highlights the need for security practices to mature. It reveals 2020 was another record-breaking year for new vulnerabilities and new malware samples have almost doubled.
Key findings of the report include:
- 18,341 new vulnerability flaws
- 106% increase in new ransomware samples
- 128% growth in new trojans
- 30% increase in OT vulnerability flaws
- 308% increase in IIoT vulnerabilites
